英国政府 12月3日 新冠疫情数据显示，
病毒确诊总数达1,674,134例，日新增14,879人；
病患死亡总数达60,133例，日新增414人。
据英国都市报报道，辉瑞/BioNTech公司的第一批冠状病毒疫苗已经在运往英国的路上，并将在几天内送往全国50几家医院。
据最新消息称，第一批疫苗预计将在数小时内抵达英国。
周三早上，在英国监管机构给疫苗开了“绿灯”后，有媒体发现大批卡车从辉瑞位于比利时普乌斯的工厂装载了数千剂疫苗前往英国。
英国已成为世界上第一个批准注射辉瑞疫苗的国家，未来几天将陆续有80万剂疫苗抵达英国，一些疫苗预计明天就会抵达。

副首席医务官乔纳森·斯塔福德（Jonathan Stafford）教授说，第一阶段会优先考虑最高危人群，预计这将消除约99%的冠状病毒相关死亡病例。
根据疫苗接种和免疫联合委员会(JCVI)的建议，下周第一批从50多个医院中心接受疫苗接种服务，将优先接种护理院人员、80岁以上人士以及一线医护和社会工作者，然后才给其他人群提供接种服务，届时还会按照年龄和感染风险来决定接种的先后顺序。然后全科医生将开始运营当地的疫苗接种中心，计划在英格兰开设大约1000个接种点。英国卫生大臣马修.汉考克说，“这意味着，从下周开始，政府将开始推行新冠疫苗接种，接种将从病毒易感人群开始。每个人都需要注射两剂疫苗，中间间隔21天。接种疫苗之后，人体将对病毒产生免疫效果，生命将得到有效的挽救。一旦我们开始保护弱势群体之后，它将帮助我们所有人逐渐恢复正常生活。”

值得注意的是，辉瑞/BioNTech疫苗需要零下70度左右的储存条件。对于外界十分关心的冷链运送问题，辉瑞称已经开发出特别设计的控温运送装置，在未开箱的情况下可以用干冰保持推荐温度（-70°C ±10摄氏度）10天左右。开箱过后，则需要按每5天重新制冷一次，如此可以维持推荐温度达30天。一旦解冻，疫苗玻璃瓶可以在普通冰箱条件（2-8摄氏度）里保存5天。鉴于目前对新冠疫苗的大规模需求，辉瑞预计任何地方的疫苗存储都不会超过30天。
这是一种非常复杂的产品，而且每盒975剂的疫苗不能轻易被拆开。并且有着非常脆弱的冷链。史蒂文斯告诉民众，它不是可以从冰箱里拿出来多次放回去的酸奶，处理起来真的很棘手。所以我认为我们会尽快实现目标，这是我们的答案，我们正在竭尽全力地努力。
